On this week’s show, we’re joined by fellow podcasters Howleir and Aluramore of Casual Owl Fans. We get to discuss their interest in Overwatch and Overwatch League, how they started podcasting, and their iron-clad support of the Florida Mayhem.

We briefly recap the week’s roster moves, specifically the LA Valiant dropping their DPS player Bunny and Atlanta Reign Flex Support Kodak’s move to Atlanta Academy. We discuss the relationship between Contenders and League rosters and the importance of maintaining public visibility in the professional Overwatch scene. We also cover the recent release of alternate 3K jerseys for 15 OWL teams. We cover which ones suck, which ones rock, and deliver our “official” tier list.

We also recap the notable lineup changes and substitutions we saw this week, as many previously benched players like Surefour and Saebyeolbe finally saw consistent playtime. We talk the evolution of the OWL meta in response to potential future balance changes and upcoming matchups, as well as notable substitutions of usual starters.

Lastly, we follow up on Immortals’ bid to purchase Optic Gaming, and what this means for the Houston Outlaws. We also discuss the beginning rumblings of a possible “Overwatch 2” reveal at Blizzcon 2019.
