This week the official Twitter account of The Division (@TheDivisionGame) went into tease-mode over-drive as a series of tweets went out over the course of 4 days containing in-game quotes, co-ordinates for in-game locations and generally just fueling speculation as to what might/is coming in the future of the game. Their final tweet of the sequence was “Signal source unknown. Extending search. ETA 48 hours”. Exactly 48 hours later and the official trailer for Update 1.8 went live on YouTube. We were treated to glimpses of Resistance, Skirmish and the new map area “West Side Pier”. If you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out for yourselves here:

State of the Game this week was somewhat of a party as Hamish, Yannick and Petter were joined via video-link by RedStorm’s very own Terry and Keith. The focus of the stream was showing off some of Update 1.8. – specifically West Side Pier, the new area of the map which contains the Aircraft Carrier “Intrepid”.

Mike, Rob and Luke discuss all of the above and more in Episode 71, with hype playing a bit part in this weeks recording.
