State of the Game was yet another feast of 1.8 news this week, it was Hamish’s turn to host Terry and Keith from Redstorm. This week there was plenty of news about the new PvE mode “Resistance”, including a video showcasing a couple of NPC waves that also revealed some of the in-mode mechanics. There was also a lot of Rogue 2.0 news delivered via the stream this week, with plenty of changes coming to how the entire Rogue mechanic works from going rogue all the way through to Manhunt status, as well as the newly announced rewards for this.
Excitingly, Petter announced that the PTS for update 1.8 would be going live on Tuesday 26th September, with the usual PC inclusions, while anyone who took part in the console PTS for 1.7 also getting access, while news of more PTS console codes will be announced shortly.

I've been a gamer ever since I can remember. I started with a Commodore64, then Amiga1200, and various PCs. Consoles I've owned include SNES, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360 and every version of PlayStation to date. My most played games are Team Fortress Classic, Championship Manager, early COD titles (don't mention Black Ops or MW3!) as well as almost all of the Gran Turismo and GTA series'.
