The Anima Drought, TBC Beta, and the Battle.net Icon
Sire Denathrius is hard, the anima drought may be ending, and there's a new battle.net icon!...
Rei hosts the show this week and is joined by Nick, Eric, and Harv as they talk about what’s been going on in WoW. Rei talks about getting ready for raid and leads to a discussion about watching videos to make sure you know your fights ahead of time. This also leads into a tangent about the Fel Reaver in the Burning Crusade classic beta. Then she talks about how a guildie forgot to check his great vault for 10 weeks and everyone talks about drop rates and currencies. Eric mentions that Order of Corrupted Souls is now past Heroic Blood Council and almost through Sludgefist. Harv talks about wanting gnomes to be paladins.
Nick talks about the recent news that Blizzard is changing their payment plans such that you can only buy gametime in advance for 60 days at $30. He interrogates Harv over his recent post to Blizzard CS complaining about the change and admits he was surprised that Harv purchased more gametime instead of cancelling. Nick talks about how the game seems ill prepared for a content lull, yet Patch 9.1 may not be out until August, so this may be a dangerous time for WoW as there is less content than usual when the lull starts. He hopes that Patch 9.1 will be out sooner rather than later.
Bjorn emailed in to say he likes us but our sound quality suffered last episode.
In the news, the Burning Crusade Classic beta is live and sign ups are available through battle.net. Also, players donated over $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders, so the Bananas charity pet is now available to everyone. If the community can hit another $500,000 they will unlock the sloth pet. And finally, Activision-Blizzard announced that Armin Zerzo is the new CFO.
Thanks to Demeternoth and Cy for answering our question of the week! Next week’s question is What would it take for you to quit WoW?
Finally, we look back at episode #81 when everyone was sick and we were in the midst of Legion.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
Blazzinbob welcomes guests NoHitJerome, EbonHardt, and HelloJTello!
MK1 Ghostface gameplay, Capcom Cup XI qualified players, Guilty Gear Strive patch, and fighting game standards.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
