Global Battle.Net and Flying Update
A short episode for a week where the biggest news was battle.net is global and flying, like love, won't cost a thing....
Rei, Eric, and Harv are back and Nick joins them late to talk about the latest goings on in World of Warcraft!
First, Eric talks about Order of Corrupted Souls defeating Sire Denathrius on Heroic, so congratulations to the team for getting Ahead of the Curve!
Harv then talks about logging into Burning Crusade Classic now that it is live and running Hellfire Ramparts and getting to level 59 on his mage. He also talks about the struggles as a hunter once again needing to keep a supply of ammunition on hand.
Rei talks again about the latest experiences with pugging and her interactions with the community.
Nick returns to talk about the news that Blizzcon 2021 has been cancelled. He talks about Blizzard’s poor development schedule and points out that after Blizzconline in February, there’s no guarantee that Blizzard would have had any announcements to make in November. They also discuss how the pandemic has stretched out WoW’s development cycle with Patch 9.1 taking forever to be released and no idea for a timetable for 9.2. Nick isn’t pointing this out because people are mad, he just believes no one should have been surprised by this news.
Also in the news, Rendle the dredger from Castle Nathria will be a questgiver in Patch 9.1, playing off the joke that as the repair vendor in the raid, he is raking in the gold.
There has also been concerns that flight in Patch 9.1 will need to be purchased per alt. Harv complains about the complexity of all of WoW’s systems. Nick talks about how easy it is to get renown.
Our question of the week is What do you think about possibly paying for flying in Patch 9.1?
Finally, we look back at episode #86 which was right after the first Auction House Dance Party.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
Blazzinbob welcomes guests NoHitJerome, EbonHardt, and HelloJTello!
MK1 Ghostface gameplay, Capcom Cup XI qualified players, Guilty Gear Strive patch, and fighting game standards.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
