Apologies for the lack of episode #184. The gang recorded an episode but there were recording issues so it was not released. We hope this episode will sound better.

Nick, Rei, Eric, and Harv are back to talk about the latest goings on in World of Warcraft. Rei starts by talking about running LFR on alts and her augment rune runs. She also talks about her experience tanking and saving the healers while hunters barrage everything insight when her cooldowns are blown. She also mentions encountering a friendly Alliance player as a cashier and talks a bit about meeting WoW players in real life.

Eric, meanwhile, talks about how they were pugging normal Castle Nathria with people who would leave early or not listen to mechanics. This leads to a discussion about the importance of communicating with your party/raid members and letting them know what you don’t know.

Harv has been playing lots of Burning Crusade Classic pre-patch! He’s enjoying his frost mage and is leveling up alongside the other Draenai. Nick talks about how he purchased the Deluxe Edition for the boost and the mount and he just wants to be able to hang out in Thousand Needles without having to fight and level his way out of the Barrens. They talk about their experiences with Burning Crusade the first time around, and get confused about the Pitlord and Doomlord Kazzak. They also talk about how Harv missed all the delays when Blizzard took the servers down for maintenance on Tuesday and didn’t get them up until the early hours Wednesday morning. Community reaction was mostly understanding but there were some idiots.

In the news, Blizzard also mentioned they are extending the honor points buff and Darkmoon Faire for pre-patch, which makes it feel like more of an event.

Nick then talks about an IGN article talking about morale at Blizzard and how the employees aren’t happy with recent decisions and the lack of shipped products. Nick talks about corporate culture and how you want to install values in your employees, and this dip in morale is the result of employees having good values when management does not. He says there is hope for Blizzard if the employees can sway the company.

Our question of the week is “What are your plans for Burning Crusade Classic?”

Finally, we look back at episode #185 when Patch 7.3 was on the PTR.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW

Christopher Greer

Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
