LoBosco takes over hosting duties while Ramses is out of town and brings in speical gues lafon to talk about the latest news in the Overwatch League. Lafon and LoBosco start by covering the latest player moves of the Chengdu Hunters who call up Tarocook1e to the main roster and send down Kaneki to their contenders roster Team Chaser. They also cover Agape leaving the San Francisco Shock coaching staff due to family reasons and discuss what the implications of losing another coach might be for the Shock team as a whole.

LoBosco and lafon rejoice at the announcment of the return of home games to US soil with the Dallas Fuel’s plan to host their game against the Houston Outlaws in July. The last pieces of news are perhaps the most foreboding with Tony Petitti stepping down as President of Sports and Entertainment of Actvision Blizzard, after holding the position for less than a year. A hire many were unsure of when it was announced but turned out to be someone that people interally ended up liking. Oddly enough there was talks about Actvision Blizzard possibly investing in whatever Petitti’s next venture is which just added more to the confusion as to what might be planned for his future.

The biggest piece of heartbreaking news came in the form of Runaway’s departure from Overwatch. One of the most beloved franchises in contenders and one of the biggest names from before the Overwatch League. LoBosco and lafon talked about the impact of Runaway and how there’s a massive void with Runaway gone.

LoBosco and Lafon move on from the Runaway news to a lighter note talking about the start of the Summer Showdown qualification games. Previewing all the matches in week one and highlighting some games they are most looking forward to.

Chris Lobosco

LoBosco is an esports broadcaster who has wandered his way over to podcasting. As if casting every chance he can wasn't enough, now he wants to talk about Overwatch League as much as he casts. You can hear him with Ramses on Push the Point.
