We’re back from the midseason break with new matchups, and new league format and more to discuss! We start the show with a breakdown of the new tournament format for Season 3, as the league shifts from a regular season to a monthly tournament format. We talk about the reasons for the change and how viewers can expect the league to change in the coming weeks. We also give a thurough breakdown of the tourney’s rules and format, along with some big changes to Hero Pools.
Next up is our breakdown of this week’s Overwatch League games. We recap each game, providing analysis on individual matchups and player performances. There’s a lot to discuss with different meta comps and breakout players, as Sp9rkle and Numlocked make their debuts for Paris Eternal and Toronto Defiant, and Haksal returns to action with the NYXL.
Lastly, we give a preview of the games coming next week, and give our thoughts on which matchups we’re most excited to watch. The tournament format is bringing tons of changes in gameplay, and more storylines that we’re excited to cover. We also give our brief thoughts on the leaked Sinatraa MVP skin.
