We begin the episode with our coverage of this week’s news stories. We look at Krystal’s return to Overwatch as a 2 way player with the Guangzhou Charge and at Spree’s exit from the Houston Outlaws. We also look at a series of exits from the Atlanta Reign, as both Babybay and Kodak retire from professional play.

Next, we look at this week’s games. We cover each match while looking at player performances, meta differences, upsets and more. We particularly focus on a crazy comeback from the Chengdu Hunters, SF Shock’s Super debuting on Genji vs the Boston Uprising, and a very strong weekend from the Paris Eternal.

Lastly, we look at the recently announced Season 3 playoff format, which will see the top 2 teams from NA and APAC meeting in Korea. We go through the qualification tournament and format for the Season 3 playoffs and discuss the details that will enable NA and APAC teams to finally compete against each other again. Lastly, we look at the coming week’s games, and discuss which matchups we think will be the most impactful on “Countdown Cup” seeding.
