Ramses is out this week which has LoBosco joined by Howleir to discuss the news and play-in games from the week....
We kick off this week’s show with coverage of the last week of Overwatch and Overwatch League news. It’s been a week filled with controversy as the Hangzhou Spark terminate the contract of MCD, the Overwatch team moves to rename a particular character, Activision Blizzard is accused of shredding lawsuit related documents and the Overwatch League announces the cancellation of its in person events. We talk about the important details of each story as frustration and anger continue to follow the league and its parent company. We discuss our frustration with the lack of backup plan for league playoffs and how the current solution fails to deal with a variety of problems facing OWL teams.
Next, we move on to a brief preview of the upcoming play-in tournament, discussing each of the initial 2 match ups. We talk about the potential paths for advancement for all 6 teams and make our picks for which squads we see making it to playoffs.
