Our first story focuses on the Chengdu Hunters and their recent rise to the top of the APAC standings. We talk about how Chengdu has looked so far and what changes to expect after their recent loss to the Philadelphia Fusion. Our other spotlight story focuses on the Washington Justice vs the Dallas Fuel matchup. Both teams performed quite well in the series and early praise of the Justice roster seems to be ringing true. We talk about how each team performed and where we see the Justice evolving from here.

From there, we jump straight into our coverage of the Week 2 games. We break down the highs and lows of each matchup and point out highlight moments and player performances. We talk about the expectations set for the debuting Justice, Uprising, Eternal, and Spitfire and how look at each team’s Week 2 results. From there, we go on to preview the Week 3 slate of games. We highlight matches that we’re especially excited to watch and consider our predictions for the 6 tournament participants in each region.

We wrap up the show with a discussion about Jeff Kaplan’s recent departure from Blizzard Activision. We talk about some potential reasons for the move, as well as the community response to the news. We end with our goodbye to Jeff and some speculation about the future of his career.
