The Patch 8.2.5 Quiz
With the next content update upon us, join Rei, Eric, and Harv in testing their knowledge as Nick returns to administer the Patch 8.2.5 quiz!...
On this week’s episode, OoCS continues to FC Normal and Heroic Za’qul is the hurdle — maybe even more so than H.Mekkatorque and H.Archimonde combined. This gets everyone started on discussing and breaking down some issues within the raid itself. Harv finds himself spending a little more time in Classic to get away from the woes of the guild’s lack of participation for contributing materials for raid. Mythic Plus continue to be a part of the rotation.
There is some Classic and Retail info on the news front.
Classic opens up free realm transfers for specfic realms and gold farmers find a work around with placing bodies down as advertisements.
Recruit-a-Friend will be coming back and with a new reward tier and a semi old system, which leaves some of the community in an outrage due to missing out rewards with all their friends returning because of Classic.
WoWhead releases a post of the 8.2.5 PTR Build 31812 and the gang briefs over what will be in the game — Worgen and Goblin character model updates, 15th year celebration rewards and content, the bee mount, Firelands Timewalking raid, introducing Party Sync, and R-a-F.
Finally, they look back at Episode #41. Harv lets us know that it was Rei’s birthday! He mentions Katie’s love of Lore and Goblins ( which as much as his dislike for Goblins ), as well as her dislike of Admiral Taylor. There was talk of pre-Blizzcon hype and the many Linkin Park references –there was way more than there should have been. Eric fat finger wipes the group on Mannoroth. The cover for the Illidan book was leaked and Rei mentions his beefy arm. Nick asks everyone for one specific thing that they all hope for at Blizzcon and no one is able to pick one specific thing. The WoW movie trailer gets everyone excited and tries to guess what will be shown at Blizzcon. Nick also wanted Blizzcon to go Oprah and have a Legion beta key under each seat.
