The Destiny of the Blizzard App
Destiny 2 is coming to battle.net. Take the journey with Nick from anger to acceptance....
Its a short WoW! Talk! this week as the gang is here but all feeling a bit under the weather. Eric and Rei talk about getting up to Heroic Gul’dan and working to get him down. They should have enough time to do so before 7.2.5 drops. As usual, Nick will wait to join them once they have it on farm. Everyone has been using the Legion invasions to level up their alts, which is super efficient now that flying is available. Nick tried leveling an alt using the Legion invasions before he had flying, and it was not at all convenient.
Eric mentions one of his blacksmith quests that flying has made easy, and Nick recommends for any leather workers looking to do the moose quest that it is also trivialized with flying. Nick starts a discussion on what end game is for everyone in Legion. For Nick, he likes collecting artifact appearances, and hasn’t been raiding as much as part of that. Eric and Rei still focus on raiding first and foremost.
Alisaunder emailed in to discuss why the Falcosaurs can’t fly (Nick may have complained about this before), and Nick wishes that all his mounts could fly. Rei offers him some Preserved Holly from Winter’s Veil, and that leads to a discussion of how to maintain your bank. In the news, new profiles are available on the World of Warcraft site, and Nick didn’t even know how robust the features were. World of Warcraft helped lead Blizzard to a stellar Q1, especially since the WoW Token recently allowed for more functions in the Blizzard shop, so there was more stuff to buy. Finally, Blizzard is changing Mythic + loot to encourage players to dungeon crawl at higher difficulties.
