Season One’s a Wrap, Next up New M+ & Raid!
OoCS has a chill week before Season Two begins, wrapping things up. Oh, and need a new tank for raid....
With Nick out the way ( kidding! ), the gang gets into it with their last two weeks. The guild tank decided to call it until next raid release after one Heroic Raszageth kill, putting the team down one but wait — their versatile Monk comes to the rescue and full clear Heroic in one night. First week Normal was for the achievement to get the Raging Magmammoth mount ( Kura found being an Evoker made it easy to fly around for some of them ), second week Normal was a chance for people to shuffle around on alts to try a different spec or role. Eric gave his Blook DK a shot that night and found that it was a bit too easy by being able to cheese mechanics. He used the Timewalking week to try Guardian spec on his Druid and decided that it was a bit on the boring side so he’s now sitting at 65. Perhaps he’ll go back to kittie spec!
Meanwhile, Kura ended up having to clear out his quest log got full and who likes the bwong of doom?! Kura also got a chance to try healing as a Preservation Evoker, but found that a third bar was necessary and needing to remember not to rescue people that will spread a debuff or breathing one’s self off the platform is a thing. He was extremely happy to have gotten 2 Rasz kills and now Jeff is the MVP, as this also got one of our one night regular PUGs was able to finally get a kill in. Outside of WoW, he tried to find a specific Alexstrasza t-shirt that Blizzard’s site only had in a women’s version ( turns out the men’s is sold out, buu urns ). Rei has a moment to share her experience with raid attendance over the years and realizes that it’s better to be around people who want to be around as getting upset is just not a good feeling to have while wanting to play a game.
The group gets a few moments to chime in on raid experiences, what’s happened throughout the years and other people having the same problem with their guild doing a one a done while others still would like to play or get gear as not everyone is award a piece just for finishing once. She also stayed up too late ( again ) and tried to clear her quest log on her Paladin and unfortunately it was the Dragonbane Keep quest so she trudged through four stages before getting lost and taking a while to solo Captain Lance, then looking up where to find Grand Flame and getting there and FINALLY a DK and another Pallie were there and with six minutes left, the Grand Hunt and probably 6+ weekly quest came to an end.
In the news, Patch 10.1 Embers of Neltharion is slated for May 2nd along with an underground cavern which seems to have 2 entrances per PTR discovery, cross-faction guilds, a new assault and meeting new allies, and the following week is the release of Season 2 which all three difficulties of Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid ( LFR TBA ) being available along with a new PvP ladder and the new Mythic+ rotation. Only a handful of class hotfixes, so fear not Mister and Miss Paladin(s)! The PTR reveals some updates to M+ affix updates for the better and some new Neltharion voice lines might give a little more into on a third Evoker specialization… What will it be — tank, bard, something new?! Noblegarden is around until April 17th, so be sure to get all your eggs in a basket… ( Eric just groaned. )
