Prices are out of control! We need more tendies for the trading post and we wonder about the cost of the virtual ticket!...
This week, Rei, Eric, Kura, and Nick are back to talk about what’s going on in the World of Warcraft! This week, the gang shares their experiences now that Patch 10.1.5 is live!
First, Rei talks about only getting to do part of the Darkmoon Faire. She also talks about how a pug player joined their raid night only to leave after one boss because they wanted a raid lockout. She also had the chance to run mythic+ with some people she hadn’t seen in a while. She and Nick talk about the Dawn of the Infinite Megadungeon since none of the group has had a chance to run it yet.
Next, Eric talks about how OoCS got AotC on Aberrus this week. They talk about how they managed to pull it off with their headcount down. Eric and Nick talk about running Time Rifts and how they didn’t have any technical issues with them, but many players are still reporting lag and “instance full” errors.
Kura shares his experiences playing the new Augmentation Evoker spec. He talks about how it is unlike any other spec in the game, and is a vast change from even playing the other Evoker specs. They talk about how PUGs are kicking augmentation evokers because of their low DPS without understanding how they buff the rest of the group. Kura also talks about how he’s enjoying the Whelpling Daycare questline which prompts a rant from Nick.
Nick, meanwhile, talks about the big Diablo IV cinematic that many are calling Blizzard’s best cinematic. Nick argues that the BfA cinematic was better. Let us know your favorite cinematics at wowtalk@mash.gg.
In the news, they talk about Patch 10.1.7 arriving on the PTR. They also talk about the 19 year anniversary mount that has been datamined. Also, there’s a new 6 months subscription mount available in the store. And finally, the FTC’s injunction against the Microsoft purchase of Activision Blizzard has been denied, so the deal is that much closer to completion.
Finally, we look 100 episodes back at episode #142.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
Jinx update, Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 2nd beta, Capcom Cup XII announcement, new characters in Multiversus.
Its been a busy few weeks: Brutosaurs, anniversaries, documentaries, patch announcements, and more!
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
