On AotC, Augmentation, and Cinematics
The gang gets AotC on Aberrus while Nick rants about daycare, cinematics, and the ABK C-Suite....
Nick is back in the hosts chair along with Rei and Eric and Kura to talk about all things Diabl — er, World of Warcraft! First, Rei talks about pugging with a larger group and how the experience changed from night to night. She also talked about running Mythic+ and being told to change her spec on the fly. Rei also pointed out this is a good time for alts as the Fire Festival and the Winds of Sanctuary buffs are still active.
Eric meanwhile talked about how the raid group was large enough that he did not get hit by every mechanic. He also celebrated hitting a 2000 M+ score and earning his free tier piece. He also mentioned tanking as his guardian druid and enjoying it more than he rememembered.
Kura talked about leveling up his alts and complaining about a newer Dracthyr doing more dps than he was. This lead to Kura researching and determining that his itemization was all wrong.
Nick then leads the other three in the Patch 10.1.5 quiz! Find out what is coming in the upcoming patch and ignore all the talk about Diablo or WoW Classic!
Next, they get into a quick discussion of the news. Blizzcon tickets are about to go on sale, and this leads to Nick interjecting with an update on the FTC lawsuit against Microsoft to delay the purchase of Activision Blizzard. Kura and Nick spar about who is winning the case and whether the merger is a good thing or not. Next, they continue talking about the price of Blizzcon tickets and how that is the result of inflation.
Nick then takes a look back 100 episodes to episode #141 when they were fighting Za’Qul.
