Roadmap for the New Year
Blizzard shares a road map for the next year and Metzen is back. 2023 is looking very interesting!...
Nick, Rei, and Eric are joined by Blazzin Bob from Warcraft Reloaded to talk about how things are going in Wrath Classic and how things are going in Dragonflight!
They begin by talking about what is next for WoW Classic as there’s been no statement from Blizzard about whether Cataclysm or some hybrid of Cata and Mists of Pandaria are coming next. They talk about the possibility of Classic+ content now that Chris Metzen has returned to Blizzard. Bob talks about how he quit WoW during Cataclysm and has had an outdated opinion of retail in that time. He talks about how he enjoys the talent trees. He talks about some of the other ways that WoW Classic can change, such as putting Wrath-era talents into a classic level game.
Rei and Eric then talk about their experiences in the raid. They are currently up to the ice spider boss Sennarth, the Cold Breath. Eric talks about being able to change his talents between wipes to customize them for each boss. Nick asks about how group loot is working out for the guild. Rei talks about her experience dragon racing to get the gold achievement. She then discusses the tailoring puzzles and Eric talks about his experience jewelcrafting and how he is spending more time lately doing that.
Bob talks about his time in Dragonflight and how he’s had several questions about the lore he’s missed since Cataclysm. He mentions finding out that Varian died. He talks about how Dragonflying needs to be brought to the old world, and he and Nick debate about how viable that would be. He also talks about struggling with some of the phasing that is not present in Wrath of the Lich King content.
