Pre-Patch Thoughts and Twitch Mounts
We react to Phase One of the Dragonflight Pre-patch and talk about the Feldrake Mount as Twitch Drop issue....
Nick, Rei, and Eric are back this week to talk about what they’ve been doing in the lead up to the Dragonflight pre-patch. Also, with Patch 10.0 coming on October 25th, it is time for the Patch 10.0 quiz!
First, Rei talks about running LFR on her rogue and still managing to dominate the meters. This leads to a discussion about the basic WoW ability that is developed across playing alts. Nick also talks about playing his rogue alt and struggling on the character in Torghast. Rei then talks about DPS’ing as her holy priest and still handling the healing. The gang talks about how LFR allows for this type of performance. Next, they talk about Rei’s attempt at getting the Veilstrider title, and how it is a massive meta-achivement that requires attention. Nick wonders if it is better to work on a meta-achievement or to have a long grind waiting for something with a low droprate to drop. Ultimately he thinks he prefers the steady progress of an achievement. Rei also talks about some mythic+ and timewalking runs.
Eric meanwhile has been helping Rei in Torghast and talks about using meters in LFR.
Then, it is time for that patch 10.0 quiz. The format this time is different, as Nick asks questions about what is coming or being removed in Phase One of the patch on 10/25, in Phase Two on 11/15, or at Dragonflight’s launch on 11/28.
Finally, they take a quick look back at Episode #123, which was the first episode of 2019 and featured lots of discontent with BfA. They also acknowledge that Eric has been on the show for 200 episodes.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
Jinx update, Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 2nd beta, Capcom Cup XII announcement, new characters in Multiversus.
Its been a busy few weeks: Brutosaurs, anniversaries, documentaries, patch announcements, and more!
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
