8.3 Reactions (and Baine, WTF?)
We react to 8.3 (Nick had some things to accept): Horrific Visions, Vulpera questline, Mechagnomes, and more! Also, no 8.3.5!...
Happy New Year! Nick is back from his hiatus and here to administer the Patch 8.3 Quiz! But first, he joins Rei, Eric, and Harv to talk about what they’ve been doing in WoW. Rei and Harv talk about running mythic plusses, and everyone talks about what they didn’t do for Winter Veil. Rei, Harv, and Eric also discuss working on some Legion achievements and running hard mode Mechagon. Meanwhile, Nick mentions that he has been leveling alts through Korrak’s Revenge. He also talks about the struggles of running timewalking dungeons, and he and Harv get into the Mechagon vs. Nazjatar debate again.
In the news, Blizzard thanked everyone for a great 2019 and shared some statistics about the anniversary event, which was a great way to level alts. Also, IKEdit released a remastered Secrets of Ulduar cinematic.
Finally, it is time for the Patch 8.3 Quiz, although the patch is not officially numbered and referred to as a content update named “Visions of N’Zoth.” Nick sticks with the Patch 8.3 name and quizzes the gang and Leowyld in the chat room. Find out who wins! Find out how many mounts are being added in 8.3!
Lastly, Nick and Harv discuss episode #49 and what was going on then. Socrethar was an issue in Hellfire Citadel. Activision Blizzard had an investor call and did not share any subscriber numbers. A bug with RPPM gear meant that people were not doing the DPS they should. There also wondered if Diablo style legendaries would fit into the WoW gameplay model.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
Blazzinbob welcomes guests NoHitJerome, EbonHardt, and HelloJTello!
MK1 Ghostface gameplay, Capcom Cup XI qualified players, Guilty Gear Strive patch, and fighting game standards.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
