I know mostly everyone except myself and a few others are very excited about Modern Warfare 3. Do be careful friends; some people are out there trying to take advantage of your anticipation. Several reports have come in that ModernWarfare3.com is a fake. Tweeters are reporting that signing up for the “beta” will put spam in your mailbox. I did a quick WHOIS and found that the domain was registered through GoDaddy with a private registration. The real website (which is callofduty.com/mw3 btw) would be registered by Activision (which the real site is). Also, I seriously doubt Activision would need to put “Ads by Google” on any of their sites. So, you have been warned. If you still feel the need to test your fate by visiting the site, peace be with you my friend.
