Last week, when Valve partnered up with a few companies to feature Free-to-Play games they had given players some promotional in-game items for participation. It seems that Valve wanted to show that they are also proud enough to offer a quality product for free and as proof of that, as of tonight, Team Fortress 2 is now a Free-to-Play title from Valve. For me, this is quite a bold move as I felt some of the featured games last week were a little hit-or-miss. By offering Team Fortress 2 for free, no one has much of an excuse to say “I didn’t want to try it cause it costs money…” because it’s free for cripes sake! If you don’t have Team Fortress 2, what are you waiting for?! Go download it now, join up a server, and have a grand time!
