There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
Modern Warfare 3 – the game that just about everyone will buy this November for the multiplayer alone – finally has its first multiplayer-centric trailer. It’s a surprisingly cheery affair full of vibrant colors and players shaking hands in a sign of good sportsman… No, I kid; it’s almost entirely gray and lots of people get shot and blown up.
The trailer shows off various mines, mounted turrets, grenades, air strikes and character packages. Aside from the incredible amount of grayness, the visuals look mighty impressive. Not Battlefield 3 impressive, mind you, but MW3 certainly looks good in its own right.
Too bad this is a cinematic style trailer and is shot with a rotating third person camera, though. It would have been nice to actually get a feel for what it will look like when playing the game.
