Nick, Rei, Eric, and Harv are back to talk about all things WoW! As soon as they get their thoughts on the super bowl and the commercials out of the way first.

Rei, Eric, Harv, and two guildies got the Hivemind mount this week. They talk about how they had to split up and attack the quests separately. Eric finished his run of skyreach quick enough that he could take a nap. Then they came back together and pet some cats to complete the secret quests. Overall they enjoyed it and should get to utilize the group’s speed buff at some point.

Rei, Eric, and Harv also entered the Dazar’Alor raid. They are up to the Stormwind Blockade, and talk about how that fight is difficult. Nick asks Harv if playing as a troll is as annoying as he thought it would be, and it is. Rei and Eric share their experiences playing as other races as well. They also talk about fighting Mekkatorque with his robots and shrinking mechanic. Nick asks about Opulence and Eric describes the fight. They also talk about having to split the raid to go into the shadowlands during the Bwon’samdi fight. Eric appreciates the Grong fight since it was set up before the raid. Nick talks about doing the Horde pre-raid quests that show how the Alliance tricked the Horde into leaving the city exposed.

Nick takes a moment to apologize for the delay on episode #124 and gives a shoutout to Criostior who sent in email on that episode.

Nick brings up the Dev Q&A that the community did not take well. He talks about how Shaman in particular were promised massive changes and then not given massive changes and then told that the number tuning they received was what Blizzard meant by massive changes, and how that was not received well. He also talks about how everything Ion is dealing with now is why Ghostcrawler left back in 2014.

Then, they talk about the controversy over Hogrus, the new store mount, and how Blizzard has been selling Chinese New Years mounts for the last few years.

Finally, Nick and Harv look back at WoW! Talk! #25. After talking about Wrestlemania, Nick gets into a lawsuit between Blizzard and Chinese company Lilith games, which had been ripping off Blizzard’s Warcraft IP. The games were making one million dollars a day, and Nick predicted that Blizzard would be entering the mobile market because how could they leave that money on the table?

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW

Christopher Greer

Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
