Holiday Restrictions, Mike Morhaime, and 8.1.5 PTR
After football, the gang discusses holiday changes, Morhaime, and BfA season 2....
Happy New Year! The gang is back for the first show of 2019 and they begin by talking about how things have been going. Rei talks about recently getting a concussion. Feel better, Rei! Nick recently ran some timewalking dungeons with everyone and forgot how to play his Death Knight. Harv is playing Eve Online, and everyone is waiting for the Battle of Dazar’Alor.
Rei shares a gofundme for a friend who lost someone. Please visit https://www.gofundme.com/a-final-goodbye-for-terri?member=1437222 to help out.
YepX sent in an email about an Asmongold video and commented that podcasters don’t seem to appropriately address the negativity. Everyone agreed that WoW is struggling at the moment, but Nick talked about how content creation inherently leads to creators who try to view the bright side. No one wants to be negative the whole time, and when something isn’t fun, its easier to stop talking about it than it is to keep talking about how unfun it is. Nick points out that WoW is the kind of game where a social network (a guild) can keep a player coming back, but when that network falls apart, it can help force players to leave.
Blizzard recently released a preview of the Dazar’Alor raid. The gang goes over how the faction-swapping mechanics will work. Nick laments that there’s no Horde transformation to Worgen. Harv is not happy with the mechanic. They go over the upcoming bosses rapidly.
Someone redid the Wrathgate cinematic with improved graphics.
The gang looks back at episode #23, which was Eric’s first episode.
Nick rants about Sylvanas and is concerned she will be the final raid boss.

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
Jinx update, Guilty Gear Strive 3v3 2nd beta, Capcom Cup XII announcement, new characters in Multiversus.
Its been a busy few weeks: Brutosaurs, anniversaries, documentaries, patch announcements, and more!
A reasonably timely episode about the upcoming 7.1 patch and second Live Letter for it, and other things.
