Legion is great but people keep complaining! Nick tells them to chill, and Jeremy returns with his third relic!...
Rei, Eric, and Nick finally get the chance to dig into the fallout from Blizzcon. First, they discuss the Odyn fight now that Trial of Valor is open, and talk about raiding and dungeon running in Legion. They also complain about the hidden quest cap. Then, Activision-Blizzard had its quarterly earnings call before Blizzcon, and Blizzard is doing very well thanks to Overwatch and World of Warcraft lately; with Blizzard having its highest number of Monthly Active Users. Nostalrius is back and they are sharing their source code with the Elysium legacy server. Given that Blizzard did not mention anything about Legacy Servers at Blizzcon, this is an interesting development.
Blizzard talked about always having content on the PTR, and they are keeping to their word as Patch 7.1.5 is going on the PTR this week. This is Legion’s first small patch and it contains Mists of Pandaria Timewalking, the return of the Brawler’s Guild, and micro-holidays. Patch 7.2 was also announced at Blizzcon and that is the Tomb of Sargeras, with the Broken Shore available as a zone leading up to our assault on the Tomb. There will also be a dungeon in the patch as well as flying on our new class mounts. Finally, Ion promised that patch 7.3 will set us going to Argus. Overall, this was a lot of information to process, but it also leaves questions, such as when can we expect the next expansion? Nick does his best to parse this out.
Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW
Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
