Nick, we miss you! Shrouded in the darkness…one day he’ll emerge.

Patch 10.1 is now open for M+ and raiding, so that is just what we did. LFR is just the first wing, people are in full force collecting fragments to upgrade all the things!

Eric had a not so fun time with Vortex Pinnacle as it was overtuned. He really is enjoying the raid thus far, at least on Normal. He realized that it’s always the honeymoon phase until it’s not. The first boss on Heroic has been downed, but not without some struggles from the team which lead into a conversation with Rei from the new Tank. This led into discussion of what could be done to be a bit more prepared for the team or oneself as team dynamics are a bit hard to work with sometimes.

Kura found Aberrus to be fun and was happy that he wasn’t behind in DPS while being as geared as a few of the other members. Normal seemed to be easy and Heroic just hurt a lot, probably due to iLevel and low DPS output. DBM’s delay in voice announcements has gotten Kura to pay attention more to visual cues since getting flavor blasted after the fact, which in fact, is not a fun flavor. He is finally enjoying the new system of leveling up his gear when needed. Trading Post gave a bonus – got a mount for completing and happened to be the achievement for his 150th mount!

Not much has changed for Rei other than her sleep schedule. Mythic+ version of Neltharion’s Lair hurt pretty bad, especially Naraxas and thankfully by Thursday it was nerfed. She is continuing to play with some consistent friends at night and getting told that the group was wholesome or refreshing. Altoholic and the Raider.IO add-on finally broke for her and the solution was to uninstall and reinstall and BAM! Time to log into all characters again…

Lots of news but the ones that were of interest was Liquid getting World First Mythic Scalecommander Sarkareth which gave the Evoker legendary weapon unlock on all difficulties. Congrats Team Liquid! Kura was excited to hear about the Augmentation Evoker Support as the third spec, which is coming in Patch 10.1.5. No Rei, it’s not a bard yodeling while strumming a lute in the distance. Lastly, for the fellow Blizzcon goers – it’s happening! Blizzcon will be in-person this year on November 3rd. Currently people are able to reserve rooms, but the team isn’t quite sure on tickets and would like to try to go this year.
