We begin this week’s show by recapping this week’s biggest news stories. Including the Boston Uprising’s termination of off tank Mouffin after serious allegations, and retirement announcements from 2 notable players. We also discuss some controversial words seen in match chat between the Valiant and Shock, and debate the merits of the League’s $1,000 per player fine. Our final piece of news revolves around the delay of Chinese matches due to a National Chinese day of morning in rememberance of the country’s coronavirus symptoms.
Next, we recap this week’s games including notable perfomances, standout players, and more. We share our favorite moments and matchups from week 9, as well as the emerging Torbjorn meta in the absence of Brigitte and Mei. Afterwards, we preview Week 10’s huge series of games, including a return from the Vancouver Titans and huge matchups between the Atlanta Reign and Philadelphia Fusion, and the Titans and the Guangzhou Charge. We wrap up by giving our thoughts on the current state of Overwatch and discuss our feelings on the game’s health as the community waits for Overwatch 2.
